I had posted this previously on the MCM thread about the new limits.

Does anyone know how many tickets were sold through tickets.com to this year's sale? Maybe they just sold way more than they ever have before and that's why they limited us to only 1 historical, etc.

Maybe they are basing the new limit on increased ticket sales this year. I am new to the sale this year and I know many others who are also going to the sale for the first time, like myself. It's possible that the increased awareness of AG due to Samantha's movie increased the overall popularity of the sale itself. So MCM is limiting the dolls to make sure everyone who comes can at least get one historical.
I wonder what this year's attendance will look like compared to year's past.
